NDC HOSTS BANGLADESH HIGH COMMISSIONER TO SL AT THE ‘DINERS’ CLUB’

His Excellency Mr. Salahuddin Mahmud, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to SL, graced NDC as the Guest Speaker at the ‘Diners’ Club’ on 25th September 2026. The Commandant and Spouse, together with the faculty, warmly welcomed the High Commissioner, his Spouse, and the Defence Attaché and his Spouse upon their arrival. During the introductory remarks, Commandant emphasized the longstanding ties between two countries and expressed his gratitude to the High Commissioner for the acceptance of the invitation.

The High Commissioner’s address, focused on ‘Bangladesh Foreign Policy in a Changing Global Security Architecture’, offered participants an invaluable opportunity to deepen their understanding of Bangladesh’s strategic vision for navigating an increasingly complex and multipolar world, its core foreign policy doctrine rooted in the principles of ‘Friendship to all, malice towards none’, and the pivotal role of bilateral relations in fostering regional stability. The ensuing interactive session further enriched the experience, providing a dynamic platform for dialogue that allowed participants to explore complex strategic concerns and exchange their perspectives.
