ADDRESS BY THE COMMANDER OF SRI LANKA ARMY

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General BKGML Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG addressed the participants of NDC course number 04, on 5^th November 2025. Commandant welcomed the Commander of the Army upon arrival and had a call-on prior to the address.

During the speech, Commander elaborated on the strategic role of the Sri Lanka Army in safeguarding national security, ensuring territorial integrity and supporting for nation building tasks. Commander further explained what are the contemporary threats and effective use modern technology to overcome those and preparedness for the future challenges and warfare.

The event provided an opportunity for the course participants, to have an informal interaction with Commander of the Army, prior to the termination.
