The 18^th edition of ‘International Research Conference’ of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU-IRC) was held from 30^th September 2025 to 01^st October 2025, under the theme of ‘Bridging Frontiers: Interdisciplinary research for sustainable progress’, with the patronage of Secretary of Defence as the chief guest.

The Senior Directing Staff (Army) Brigadier M M T Bandara USP AUSWC psc, and Foreign Course Participants Brigadier General Muhhammad Ali Haider from Bangladesh and Staff Colonel Pilot Waleed Alrahamah from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivered insightful presentations at the technical session.
