VISIT OF PAKISTAN DELEGATION TO NDC

A Delegation from the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) of Pakistan visited NDC on 25^th September 2025, comprised with Commodore(Retd) Dr. Bilal Haider, Vice President of NIMA & Director of the Indian Ocean Study Centre and Commander(Retd) Syed Kamaran Hamid, Senior Researcher at NIMA. Commandant welcome them, followed by a formal call-on at the commandant’s office.

During the visit, they delivered two insightful lectures, on the topics of ‘Safeguarding regional security – maritime challenges’ and ‘Maritime insecurities & their spillover into internal security dynamics of south Asia’.

The visit contributed significantly to strengthening academic ties and fostering mutual understanding between the two institutions.
