VISITS OF CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF OF INDIAN NAVY

The Chief of the Naval Staff of Indian Navy, Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi PVSM AVSM NM visited NDC on 23^rd September 2025. Commandant welcomed the Indian Naval chief upon the arrival.

After the call-on at commandant’s office, Chief of the Indian Naval Staff addressed course participants, sharing valuable perspectives on; requirement of a regional maritime security for transforming geopolitics, changing structural dynamic in the region, Global prosperity through technology and importance of regional cooperation for maritime domain awareness. Further, during the address, Admiral Tripathi emphasized the importance of strong defence ties between India and Sri Lanka.

The visit marked another important milestone of mutual understanding and enhancing military to-military engagement between the two friendly nations in terms of receiving intellectual assistance.
