VISIT OF INDIAN DEFENCE SECRETARY

The Defence Secretary of India, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh accompanied by a delegation of Senior Military Officers and Officials, paid a visit to NDC on 06 June 2025, as part of the visit to Sri Lanka. During the visit, Defence Secretary addressed the course participants emphasizing the significance of regional cooperation that needs for robust strategic partnerships and the shared security interests relevance to both countries. He highlighted the role of professional military education in shaping future leaders and fostering mutual understanding among regional defence establishments.

The visit to the NDC served as a testament to the deep-rooted defence ties between two countries and reaffirmed India’s commitment to enhancing regional security through dialogue, capacity-building and continued cooperation.
