NDC HOSTS HER EXCELLENCY JULIE CHUNG, U.S AMBASSADOR TO SL AT THE DINERS’ CLUB

Her Excellency Julie J. Chung, U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, honored NDC-SL being presence for Diners’ Club on 27^th March 2025, by accepting the invitation of Commandant. The Commandant and Spouse warmly welcomed the Ambassador, and during the introduction speech he emphasized the significance of her visit to the NDC. Ambassador's speech focused on ‘Economic security and its relation to sovereignty’. She highlighted the critical role of maritime security in safeguarding national sovereignty and underscored the importance of strategic partnerships between Sri Lanka and the United States in addressing shared challenges.

Moreover, the event provided an extensive opportunity for Course Participants to interact with HE the Ambassador and share knowledge on ties between the two nations and strategic level security concerns.
