COMMANDANT DELIVERED A SPEECH AT 26TH ASEAN REGIONAL FORUM – HEADS OF DEFENCE UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES AND INSTITUTIONS MEETING (26THARF-HDUCIM)

KDU hosted the 26th ARF-HDUCIM at the Galle Face Hotel on 23rd and 24th January 2025 under the theme of ‘Defence Education in an Era of Transition’, with the participation of delegations from 27 countries. Hon. Deputy Minister of Defence, graced the occasion as Chief Guests on inauguration day.

The Commandant NDC delivered a speech on the theme ‘Climate Change and Impact of Global Warming Past, Present and Future’. In his speech, Commandant alarmed the audience on adverse effects on the planet as a result of global warming due to climate change. With statistical data he further elaborated the present situation, highlighting the future challenges on urgent requirement of mitigate the issue.
