The Chief of Defence Staff conducts a lecture at the NDC

General Mahamanya Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, the Chief of Defence Staff, delivered an insightful lecture on ‘Concepts of Joint Services Strategy on National Security Concerns of Sri Lanka’ to the participants of the National Security and Strategic Studies (NS&SS) Course 03 on 4 November 2024.

The session aimed to deepen the understanding of the critical role that integrated military operations play in addressing the multifaceted security challenges facing Sri Lanka today. Through a comprehensive exploration of joint services strategies, the Chief of Defence Staff emphasised the importance of collaborating across various services and branches of the armed forces in enhancing national defence and resilience.
