An Australian Defence delegation Visits the NDC

The National Defence College welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Australian Defence and Strategic Studies College (DSSC), comprising 28 members. Headed by Colonel Lara Terese Troy CSC, the Director of DSSC, the delegation engaged in a productive exchange with NDC officers, including a courtesy call on the Commandant. The maiden visit from Australian DSSC to NDC Sri Lanka has become a land mark event in fostering strong bilateral ties and enhancing collaboration between both countries in higher defence education.

During the visit, a comprehensive presentation on Australia's National Defence Strategy was also conducted, providing valuable insights into the strategic priorities and challenges faced by Australia. This interaction not only enriched the understanding of defence dynamics but also reinforced mutual defence relations between the two countries.
