The NDC conducts a Net Assessment Capsule

The National Defence College of Sri Lanka conducted a focused Net Assessment Capsule as part of the National Security and Policy module from 30 September to 4 October 2024. This event featured Colonel Navin Kumar Sharma, Head of the Department of Strategic Management, and Colonel Anand Shanker Bajpai, a Directing Staff member from the College of Defence Management, India. Both experts graciously shared their insights, covering crucial topics such as net assessment methodology, national power, the causes of strategic failure, and conceptual frameworks essential for effective strategic planning. The discussions also delved into scenario building and providing a comprehensive understanding of contemporary security challenges.

The course participants from the NS&SS Course 3/2024 actively engaged in a variety of activities, enriching their learning experience and broadening their knowledge in strategic management. This initiative significantly contributed to mutual military education cooperation between India and Sri Lanka, fostering stronger ties and collaborative efforts in the realm of national security and strategy.
