The National Defence College holds the second Diners’ Club

Mr KM Mahinda Siriwardane, the esteemed Secretary to the Treasury and Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilisation, and National Policies, conducted a guest lecture on 'Emerging Economic Landscape Relevant to Sri Lanka' on 6 June 2024 as the Guest Lecturer of the second Diners’ Club of NS&SS Course 3/2024. The Course Participants were able to broaden their understanding of the evolving economic landscape of Sri Lanka at the end of the session.
The lecture underscored strategies for navigating economic crises while adhering to the legal frameworks and procedures of the nation. Drawing insightful comparisons between Sri Lanka's current economic challenges and those faced by other nations, he emphasized the necessity of seeking viable solutions amidst adversity.
Following the informative lecture, the Course Participants engaged in a vibrant interaction session, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives. Facilitated by Mr Siriwardane himself, this session provided a platform for attendees to delve deeper into the topics discussed, share their experiences, and forge connections.
