Major General Scott Winter, Deputy Commanding General-Australia, United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) visits the National Defence College of Sri Lanka

A delegation led by Major General Scott Winter, Deputy Commanding General-Australia, United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), paid an official visit to the National Defence College of Sri Lanka on 5 June 2024, marking a very important visit by United States Pacific Command. The primary objective of this diplomatic encounter was to fortify mutual defence cooperation and foster collaboration within the defence education sector.

The United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) delegation consisted of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Nelson the Defence Attaché of the USA, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Hwang, Mr Faheem Rathore Captain Levy Ulanday. Major General Scott Winter interacted with Course Participants and the Faculty of the National Defence College aiming to facilitate knowledge sharing, and academic exchanges, promoting a deeper understanding of defence-related issues.
