A visiting US Delegation calls on the Commandant NDC

A four-member US delegation visited the NDC on 19 November 2021. The delegation attended the morning lecture along with NDC course participants on “Rise and Downfall of Athens” conducted by the US scholar Dr. Joseph Hogler on the virtual platform and contributed with their valuable inputs during the brainstorming session that followed as part of the lecture.

Following the academic session, the delegation called on the Commandant Major General KADA Karunasekara and affirmed their continued assistance for the newly formed National Defence College Sri Lanka. The delegation comprised of Commander Ross Peters – Chief, Office of Defence Cooperation, Mr Erick Leklem-Regional Program Lead for the Indo-Pacific at the Institute for Security Governance (ISG), Mr Matthew B. Ashley – Country Project Coordinator (CPC) Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Mr Terrence Kilogore- Logistics, Security Cooperation and Education Subject Matter Expert, accompanied by Mr Kapilla Dissanayake – Security Cooperation Specialist and Mr Kalana Jinadasa – Security Program Specialist.
