Officers of Defence Attaché Orientation Course visit NDC

A 26 member delegation comprising the officials and members of the 4th Defence Attaché Orientation Course in Defence and Diplomacy visited the National Defence College on 9th December 2021. The course was conducted by General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University with the sponsorship of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. The course is designed to train military officers who have the potential to take up appointments as Defence Advisors and Defence Attachés in the future. The officers from various countries such as Russia, Japan, Austria, Bangladesh, India, Maldives and Sri Lanka participated in the course. The delegation was led by Colonel Laurent Currit, the Director of the Regional Programme & Head of the Defence Diplomacy accompanied by Mr. Thierry Randon, the Senior Programme Coordinator.
