The National Defence College holds a ‘Poson Bathi Gee evening’

The National Defence College Celebrated the richness of Sri Lankan culture with a vibrant 'Poson Bathi Gee Evening' held on 20 June 2024. Organised by the NS&SS Course No.3 in collaboration with enthusiastic participants from the first and second NS&SS courses, this event showcased the essence of Poson through traditional Bathi Gee performances. The musical renditions of classic Sri Lankan songs, steeped spiritual significance and the evening highlighted the beauty of the musical traditions and fostered camaraderie amongst the attendees.

The event underscored the importance of cultural appreciation within the military community exemplifying the College's commitment to nurturing cultural understanding and disseminating the inheritance to the foreign course participants.
