National Defence College warmly welcomes the United Kingdom Defence Academy Delegation

A delegation, headed by the Chief Executive and Commandant Defence Academy of the United Kingdom Major General AM Roe CB, paid a courtesy call on the Commandant Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc MSc this afternoon (02 Nov) at the NDC.

Subsequently, the Secretary of the NDC Brigadier Ranjan Wijedasa WWV RSP USP MHRM MAS(SWISS) LISC(GCSP) ndc psc presented a brief introduction about the National Defence College, its history, role and tasks including the study modules and further educated the visitors about the organization during their College visit.

At their cordial interaction, the Commandant of the NDC commended the cooperation that continues for so many years between Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom Armed Forces.

The Commandant of the NDC and the head of the Delegation exchanged mementoes of goodwill and friendship.

Before the envoys’ departure, the Head of the Delegation marked his compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
