The US Scholar Dr. Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell calls on the Commandant NDC

Dr. Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell and his family paid a courtesy call to the Commandant, National Defence College, Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc MSc this afternoon (09) at the National Defence College.
Dr. Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs and Director of the Consortium of Indo-Pacific Researchers. He has also performed as the Acting Director and Managing Editor of the Air University Press and the Acting Dean of the Air Force Research Institute. Further, he is a cross-disciplinarian scholar and administrator with a multivalent background in publishing, social sciences, languages, writing, editing, teaching, and the military.
During this visit, Dr. Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell delivered a brief lecture on the “QUAD Plus Construct” including developments from the recently concluded QUAD summit in Tokyo: i.e., the Indo Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), the QUAD Fellowship, and the Indo- Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness with special reference to Sri Lanka to the Course Participants of NDC.
The Commandant presented a memento to Dr Rockwell as a token of appreciation at the end of the lecture. Dr.Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell also endorsed his compliments in the Visitors’ Book in marking his visit to the NDC.
