National Defence College warmly welcomes Pakistan's NDU Delegation

A delegation of undergraduates studying at the Pakistan National Defence University (NDU), headed by Air Cdre Akhtar Imran Saddozai, called on the Commandant Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc MSc at the Commandant's office after all delegates were welcomed on arrival on 08 June 2022.

The delegation comprises of senior officers from Pakistan armed forces, and undergraduates of Pakistan NDU. The National Defence University (NDU) is a premier institution of Pakistan, catering to the needs of senior leadership from various segments of society, both domestic and international, in comprehending security issues and policy/strategy formulation.

Brigadier PPA Perera psc, Hdmc, MBA (Colombo), MMS (India), BSc (Def) Civ Eng, Secretary, NDC presented a brief overview of NDC Sri Lanka to the delegation. The Commandant of the NDC and the visiting Head of the Delegation Air Cdre Akhtar Imran Saddozai exchanged mementoes of goodwill and friendship. The delegation also donated some reference materials to the NDC Library.

Before the envoy’s departure, the Head of the Delegation left his compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
