A Delegation of NDC Abuja- Nigeria Pays Courtesies to Commandant NDC Sri Lanka

A Delegation of NDC Abuja- Nigeria visited NDC, Sri Lanka this morning (01).

A 12 member delegation, headed by AMB AO Enikanolaiye, Director of National and Political Affairs paid a courtesy call on the Commandant at the NDC.

The Commandant Major General Amal Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc MSc warmly received a representative group of delegates, headed by AMB AO Enikanolaiye, Director of National and Political Affairs of NDC Abuja- Nigeria to NDC, Sri Lanka and had a cordial interaction with them. During exchange of views, the Commandant NDC commended the ‘Army to Army’ cooperation that continues for so many years between both Sri Lankan and Nigerian Armed Forces.

Afterwards, Brigadier PPA Perera psc, Hdmc, MBA (Colombo), MMS (India), BSc (Def) Civ Eng, Secretary, NDC offered a presentation on the National Defence College,Sri Lanka, its history, current roles and tasks and educated the visitors on the organization during a brief discussion.

The Commandant towards the end of the friendly interactive meeting awarded a memento to the delegation wishing them a pleasant stay in Sri Lanka. The delegation has also presented a token of appreciation and a reference material to NDC library to mark their presence.

Before the envoy’s departure, the head of the representative group of delegates left his compliments in the Visitors’ Book.
