Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage delivers the inaugural lecture at NDC

Foreign Secretary, Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage delivered the inaugural lecture on ‘Basic Principles of Strategy, Policy and Concepts’ today at the NDC.

The lecture laid the foundation for the Strategy and Policy module which is at the core of the National Security and Strategic Studies Programme conducted over a span of 10 months awarding the ‘ndc’ qualification for the course participants comprising Tri-Services and Police.

The Commandant handed over a memento to Admiral Professor Colombage in signifying the occasion. The Professor also donated some books to the NDC library insisting on the value of reading to enhance the intellectual capacity of officers.
